The 38th International Peace Tour (Course de la paix) was a cycling race that took place from May 8th to May 22nd, 1985.

The 38th edition of the International Peace Tour consisted of 12 individual stages and led over a total length of 1689 km from Prague via Moscow and Warsaw to Berlin . The team winner was the USSR . The best climber was Kjell Nilsson from Sweden .

The most versatile and best point driver was Lech Piasecki from Poland .

On the 40th anniversary of the liberation, the peace trip stopped for the first time in Moscow.
