International Peace Tour 1996
The 49th International Peace Tour (Course de la paix) was a cycling race that was held from May 5th to 14th, 1996.
The 49th edition of the International Peace Tour consisted of 11 individual stages and led over a total length of 1404 km from Brno via Trencin and Żywiec to Leipzig . The team winner was the Deutsche Telekom team . The best climber was Jaroslav Bílek from the Czech Republic .
Professional teams also take part; with Bjarne Riis also a Tour de France driver.
