International Peace Tour 2002

The 55th International Peace Tour (Course de la paix) was a cycling race that took place from May 10th to 18th, 2002.

The 55th edition of the International Peace Tour consisted of 10 individual stages and led over a total length of 1470 km from České Budějovice via Chemnitz to Warsaw . The team winner was Team Mroz ( Poland )PolandPoland  . The best climber was Ondřej Sosenka from the CCC Mat team ( Poland )PolandPoland  .

A total of 120 drivers were at the start. Up to 6 drivers per team are allowed.

The Polish driver Piotr Przydział from the CCC Polsat team won the race, but was convicted of doping and disqualified. His team-mate Ondřej Sosenka moved up to first place.
