Tania Rubio
Tania Rubio (* 1987 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican composer .
Life
Rubio studied composition in Mexico City and Buenos Aires . In the summer of 2019, she received a three-month work grant as composer in residence in Frankfurt am Main from the Frau und Musik archive in cooperation with the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . After her time in Frankfurt, she plans to start her dissertation in Linz .
Create
In her compositions Rubio combines electronic music with natural sounds as well as the traditional instruments of South America with those of the classical orchestra .
