Tanja Hennes , married . Schmidt-Hennes , (born June 30, 1971 in Attendorn ) is a former German cyclist .

Tanja Hennes was under contract with international cycling teams from 1999 to 2008 . In 2000 she was third in the German championship in road racing, in 2005 second. In 2001 she won the overall ranking of the Albstadt women's stage race , and in 2002 she came second. She won the Cologne-Schuld-Frechen race three times , in 2002, 2003 and 2006. Her greatest success was winning the 2005 Holland Ladies Tour .

For the 2009 season, Hennes no longer signed a driver contract and switched to the management of the cycling department at TV Attendorn . In addition, she was the sports director of the " Team Nutrixxion Lady ". She continues to compete in cycling races in the Masters class .

In 2010 Tanja Hennes gave birth to a son.
