Tanja Wagener (born November 5, 1972 in Siegen ) is a German lawyer and was a member of the SPD in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2012 to 2017 .
biography
After attending school in Siegen at the Fürst-Johann-Moritz-Gymnasium , Tanja Wagener studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen from 1992 to 1997 and passed the second state examination in 2000. Since then she has been working as a lawyer, mostly in her own law firm.
politics
Tanja Wagener joined the SPD in 2004 and held various party offices. She has been a member of the City Council of Siegen since 2009. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , she won a direct mandate in the Siegen-Wittgenstein I state electoral district , which she did not claim in 2017.
