Tanvaldský Špičák

The Tanvaldský Špičák (German Tannwalder Spitzberg ) is a mountain in the Czech part of the Jizera Mountains not far from Tanvald and Desná . The 810  m nm high mountain is a prominent mountain in the eastern Jizera Mountains and is the main center of winter sports in the Jizera Mountains. On 4 July 1909 the anniversary of Emperor was on the occasion of Franz Joseph of Austria at the summit one of the local branch Albrechtsdorf the German Mountain Club inaugurated erected, 22 m high observation tower, soon a guest house (at the cottage ) was grown, its present form dates back to 1930.
