Tanya Seymour

Tanya Karen Seymour (born November 5, 1983 ) is a South African dressage rider .

She was born in South Africa and moved to Australia with her family in 2000. She has lived in Germany since 2007 and trains with Jonny Hilberath.

She took part in the World Equestrian Games in Normandy in 2014 and reached 20th place with the South African team and 98th place in the individual.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics she started again for South Africa after qualifying in Perl . She reached place 56 in Rio and thus became the first South African dressage rider to take part in the Olympic Games.
