Tarō Urabe ( Japanese 卜 部 太郎 , Urabe Tarō ; born July 11, 1977 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .


Urabe learned to play football in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka . He signed his first contract with Cerezo Osaka in 1996. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 23 first division games. In 1999 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . For the club he completed 15 games. In 2000 he moved to Rochedale Rovers FC . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
