Taranpanth

Taranpanth is a small Indian denomination . It was founded in 1505 by the spiritual teacher Taran Taran Svami in Bundelkhand and belongs to the Digambara - Jainas . During this time there were several reform movements in Jainism. The Taranpanthis originally came from six parishes that established a faith center in Nisai Ji in 1817 . The number of members of the Taranpanthis is not documented. Estimates assume around 10,000 relatives.
