Tariq Chihab ( Arabic طارق شهاب, according to the German legend Schihab; * November 22, 1975 ) is a Moroccan soccer player who last played for the Swiss club FC Sion .

Career

Chihab began his career in 1993 with Chabab Mohammédia . There he played until 2000. In that year he moved to Europe in Switzerland for FC Zurich , where he was able to assert himself as a regular player. In 2004 he then moved to arch-rival Grasshopper Club Zurich . He spent two years of his career there before moving to FC Sion for a year in 2006 . In 2007 he moved to Neuchâtel Xamax , where he also fought for a regular place. In 2009 he returned to FC Sion.

National team

Chihab is 18 times Moroccan international. He made his first international match in 2002, but ended his national team career in 2005.
