The Tarnowo Piedmont Glacier ( Bulgarian Ледник Търново Lednik Tarnovo ) is a foreland glacier on the south coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Barnard Point in the west and the Prespa Glacier in the east. It is bounded to the north and west by the southern foothills of Mount Friesland .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002 after Tarnowo , capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire .
