Taru Alho (born April 19, 1985 in Salo ) is a Finnish volleyball player .

Career

Alho began her career at the age of seven in her hometown with LP Salo. There she came to the first division team at the age of fifteen. Later she played in Pieksämäki . In Finland, the outside attacker was runner-up in 2001 and in 2002 she was in the national cup final. In 2003 she won the cup and again reached second place in the championship. From Pieksämäki she switched to Katrineholms VK. In 2011 she became Swedish champions with the team. The national player was then signed by the German Bundesliga club Envacom Volleys Sinsheim .
