Tassilo II
Tassilo II from the Agilolfinger dynasty was Duke of the Bavarians in Baiern between 717 and 719 . He was a son of Duke Theodo II and the Folchaid .
Nothing is known of his work as a duke, in fact his existence is only documented in the Salzburg fraternity book , where he is recorded as unmarried. On the other hand, he is assigned a wife Imma († around 750) who made him the father of a Grimoald and Swanahild , who later became the wife of Karl Martell . Since Swanahilde († after 743, buried in Chelles Abbey ) was certainly the niece of Duke Odilos (Duke 739-748), this would mean that Odilo would again have to have been a brother or brother-in-law of Tassilos.
