The Tatur Hills ( Polish Wzgórza Tatura ) are between 50 and 60 m high hills on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They rise up in the area of Turret Point on the east side of the entrance to King George Bay .
Polish scientists named it after Andrzej Edward Tatur (* 1944) from the University of Warsaw , Director of the Department of Antarctic Biology .
