Tau is a small island in the Ha'apai archipelago that belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the south of ʻOtu Muʻomuʻa in the group of the Nuku Islands together with Nuku , Kelefesia and the Kefikana Rock .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Ha'apai group, Tau is occasionally hit by cyclones .
