Pigeon tower in Guer

The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Guer , a French commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany , was built in the 18th century. The pigeon tower has been classified as a monument historique since 1993 as part of the Château de Coëtbo .

The octagonal tower made of quarry stone masonry only has an emergency roof. The classical portal with two columns is extraordinarily monumental for a pigeon house.
