The baptismal font in the Notre-Dame church in the French community of Lampaul-Guimiliau was created in 1650/51. The baroque baptismal font has been classified as a monument historique since 1906 .

The actual granite baptismal font in the middle is surrounded by an octagon consisting of a partition on which eight winding columns stand. A three-story canopy in an octagonal shape rises on these pillars . The entire structure is six meters high. The twelve apostles can be seen as wooden sculptures on the lower zone of the canopy .

The following inscription is on the baptismal font: "FF LAVAENS ROPARTZ EL ABGRALL LORS FABRIQVES LAN 1651". And on the canopy: "FFP MILLIO ROPARTZ E HERVE ABGRALL LORS FABAIQUE LAN 1650".
