Tebangaroi is a place in the east of the Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands of the island state of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean . The place is on the island of Buariki . In 2017 the place had about 34 inhabitants.
geography
Tebangaroi is a place on the "mast", the northern arm of the Tarawa Atoll. It is located south of Nuatabu . There is a meeting house. The next town to the south is Taratai . To the south of the place there is a deep cut into the reef crown. There the Tebangaroi Causeway connects the island parts on the southern inner side of the atoll.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other places in Tarawa Atoll, Tebangaroi is occasionally hit by cyclones .
