Tecom Co., LTD. ( Chinese  東 訊 股份有限公司 ) is a manufacturer of telecommunications equipment , which was founded in 1980 in the Science-Based Industrial Park in Hsinchu , Taiwan . The company currently has more than 650 employees.

Tecom's product lines include commercially used communication systems, radio communication systems, infrastructural systems as well as broadband and IP -based communication systems.

Tecom also offers services in the telecommunications sector, including GSM and network services in Taiwan, broadband Internet access for building complexes, and fixed wireless access (FWA ) in rural areas or in developing countries .

Tecom has been publicly listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange since November 1991.

The products are also widespread in Germany; among other things, Deutsche Telekom has parts of the Speedport series (DSL modems with WLAN or LAN router function) manufactured by Tecom.
