Fritz Nydegger

Fritz Nydegger (born February 27, 1937 in Köniz ; † August 3, 1993 in Göttingen ) was a Swiss actor and director .

Life

Nydegger, who was mainly a theater actor, was a permanent member of the Bad Hersfeld Festival from 1961–1965 and 1968–1970 . He appeared there under the direction of William Dieterle from 1961 to 1965, among other things on the side of Albin Skoda (slip), as Puck in the comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream . The production was also recorded for television . In 1968 he played the crier in Bad Hersfeld in the documentary drama The Persecution and Murder of Jean Paul Marat presented by the acting group of the Charenton Hospice under the guidance of Mr de Sade by Peter Weiss . In 1970 he was awarded the Hersfeld Prize .

In 1966 he played, directed by Harry Buckwitz , at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt in Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper . The German Stage Yearbook published by the Deutsches Bühnenverein still performed Nydegger as an actor and director at the Deutsches Theater in 2001.

In 1985 he directed the comedy Die Erbschaft by Reiner Lücker and Stefan Reisner at the Städtebundtheater Hof . In 1991, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the theater, Nydegger played the Peachum in Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg, alongside Katja Ebstein , who played Spelunken Jenny, and Berno von Cramm (Macheath). In 1991 he also directed the comedy Der Raub der Sabinerinnen at the Ernst Deutsch Theater .

Nydegger was also seen in film roles and on television from the mid-1960s . In 1964, under the direction of Franz Schnyder, he played the role of the farmer's son Christeli in the Jeremias Gotthelf film adaptation of Money and Spirit . In 1965 he was seen on ARD in the crime film Im Schatten einer Großstadt , directed by Johannes Schaaf , alongside Vadim Glowna ; Nydegger played his friend Fred in the film . In 1968, again directed by Franz Schnyder, he played the role of half-brother Emil in the film The Six Kummerbuben . Nydegger's roles included appearances in the TV series The Fifth Column or PS - Stories about the Car . In 1971 he also played Archibald Durand in the ZDF comedy Zum kleine Glück . In 1978 he played the bourgeois lawyer Onek in a TV production by ZDF in the play Buckel by Sławomir Mrożek ; his partners were Angelika Bender and Gerd Baltus .

On December 14, 1968, he also appeared with the puck as a guest on the ARD Saturday evening show One will win .

Nydegger also worked as a speaker. In 1971 he took part in the radio play Jim Button and Lukas the Engine Driver, which was published on the Phonogram label . In 1974 he worked as Ole and as a cook in the radio play Klaus Störtebeker's Adventure .
