Ted Benton

Ted Benton (born November 6, 1942 ) is a British social scientist . Benton began his academic career teaching the life sciences at an institution in Leicester . During this time he studied philosophy and finally got a teaching position from the sociology department of the University of Essex , where he taught and researched throughout his life, now as a professor emeritus .
