Cucchiaro

Cucchiaro was an Italian measure of the volume of grain and liquids in Sardinia . The specified coppo was actually an oil measure in the Duchy of Lucca and was often confused with the copello .

  • 1 cucchiaro = 0.12 liters (= 0.167 liters)
  • 1 copello = 20 cucchiaro = 120 ¾ Parisian cubic inches = 2 2/5 liters
  • 24 Cucchiari = 1 Coppo (Copello?) = 2.876 liters
  • 138 Cucchiari = 1 bucket
  • 690 Cucchiari = 1 Sacco = 40 Coppi = 115.028 liters
