Ted Osius

Theodore "Ted" George Osius (* 1961 in Annapolis , Maryland ) is an American diplomat .

Life

Osius attended The Putney School in Vermont and studied at Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University . From 2013 to 2014 he was a professor at the National War College in Washington, DC From December 16, 2014 to January 20, 2017, Osius was the successor to David B. Shear as the United States Ambassador to Vietnam . Osius is married to Clayton Bond and has two children.
