Edwin "Teddy" Billington (born July 14, 1882 in Southampton , † August 8, 1966 in Pine Brook ) was an American cyclist .

When Teddy Billington was a baby, his parents emigrated with him from the UK to the USA. He grew up in Vailsburg , which was then one of the strongholds of track cycling in the USA. At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis , he started in seven disciplines on the track and won four medals: a bronze medal each over a third, a quarter and a full mile. He won the silver medal in the half-mile race , even though he had to ride a borrowed bike because his own hadn't yet arrived by train.
