Teisamenos (King of Thebes)

Teisamenos ( Greek  Τεισαμενός ), the son of Thersandros and Demonassa , was king of Thebes in Greek mythology . He was the father of the Autesion .

When Thersandros, his father, was killed during the first campaign against Troy , Teisamenos was still too young, so that Peneleos took over the affairs of state and also led the Boeotians on the second platoon . Only when Peneleus died, Teisamenos ascended the throne of Thebes. He was succeeded by his son Autesion.
