Autesion

Autesion ( Greek Αυτεσίων Autesíōn ), the son of Teisamenos , was in Greek mythology the father of Theras , after whom the island Thera was named, and of Argeia , who later married the Heraclid Aristodemos . Autesion became king of Thebes after his father Teisamenos , but had to emigrate because of an oracle and settled with the Dorians . Damasichthon , son of Opheltes, was chosen as his successor .
