TekBASE is software for managing servers. It was developed by the manufacturer TekLab for both Unix and Microsoft Windows- based servers.

In particular, TekBASE is designed for the management of so-called game servers, voice servers, stream servers such as SHOUTcast and virtual servers based on OpenVZ . This chargeable product is used by various Internet service providers, in particular providers from the e-sports sector. The licenses are graded according to the number of systems and modules to be managed. With this management software , users can manage their servers via a web interface , which significantly simplifies the provision of services and support for the Internet service provider. In addition, TekBASE offers an integrated content management system with an online shop as well as an invoicing and dunning system.

programming

TekBASE was programmed in PHP and is highly modularized. A database based on MySQL and the JavaScript class library JQuery are also used . The source code of TekBASE is encrypted with ionCube to prevent unlawful copies.

Working method

The TekBASE web interface supports decentralized use, which means that the management software is installed on a server and can integrate other servers and manage them from there. Communication with the other servers takes place via the SSH2 protocol using public key authentication .
