Tektronix logic analyzer

Tektronix is a United States company headquartered in Beaverton , Oregon . In November 2007, the company was acquired by Danaher Corporation for a purchase price of $ 2.8 billion. Following the takeover of Keithley Instruments by Danaher in 2010, Keithley was merged into Tektronix. Today Tektronix is ​​part of the Fortive group. Tektronix employs around 4,360 people.

The company was founded in 1946 by Howard Vollum and Melvin Murdock, who brought the first triggered oscilloscope to market. In 1947 the company had 12 employees and in 1951 it had 250 employees.

The best known are the 5000 and 7000 series of oscilloscopes with three or four slots, as well as the models 465, 475 and 485 from the 1970s and 1980s.
