Tele-Ski was a German ski gymnastics series of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation , which was produced from 1977 and later broadcast with the subtitle Tips and Training for Slopes and Loipe .

The crouch on the ski run

The program was moderated by the professional skiers Franz Klammer , Toni Sailer , Hansi Hinterseer , Rosi Mittermaier , Christa Kinshofer and the sports journalist and ski instructor Manfred Vorderwülbecke , who to the music of Max Greger prepared the viewer with information for the skiing holiday and showed them exercises for skiing. At the end of each of the programs, presenters and viewers had to crouch down to simulate a two-minute ski run during a tracking shot with a World Cup downhill slope shown in the background . The credits were followed by a clip with Fuzzy Garhammer, the piste fright .

The series was shot in Munich.

Radiance and exploitation

The format was so successful that Tele-Ski later ran on all third-party programs . Videos and textbooks were also produced as additional training units. In addition, cassettes and a record with the name Tele-Ski, Tips and Training for Piste and Loipe in the trade, which were developed by Jürgen Kemmler and Manfred Vorderwülbecke and published by the BVL publishing company, and the LP Tele Ski: A training program with music were released in 1982 (1982).
