Teleflex entered medical technology in 1981 with the manufacture of polymer materials for use in the medical sector. In 1989 the Willy Rüsch AG was madeRommelshausen taken over by Teleflex. Since the entry into medical technology, all other essential business branches have been disinvested, which makes the company a pure medical technology group.
