Ten Sharp is a Dutch pop - band , which in autumn 1991 with their hit You celebrated European success and indeed one Evergreen has created internationally but a one-hit wonder remains.

biography

From 1985 the band achieved local success in their home country, including When the Snow Falls, Last Words and Japanese Love Song. At that time the band consisted of three members. Bassist Ton Groen later switched to songwriting . Niels Hermes ( keyboard ) and Marcel Kapteijn ( vocals ) continued as a duo and created an international hit in 1991 with the song You (including DE 4, AT 2, CH 3, UK 10). The follow-up single Ain't My Beating Heart could not live up to the high expectations of the audience.

In 2003 the last album to date was released. The duo are still regularly on the road, primarily in the Netherlands.
