Tencho
Tenchō ( Japanese 天長 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from February 824 to February 834 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Kōnin , the following era is called Jōwa . The era falls during the reign of the emperors ( Tennō ) Junna and Nimmyō .
The first day of the Tencho era corresponds to February 8, 824, the last day was February 13, 834. The Tencho era lasted eleven years or 3659 days.
