Konin (era)
Kōnin ( Japanese 弘仁 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from September 810 to January 824 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Daidō , the following era is called Tenchō . The era falls during the reign of the emperors ( Tennō ) Saga and Junna . The era name should not be confused with the eponymous Kōnin -Tennō.
The first day of the Kōnin era corresponds to October 20, 810, the last day was February 7, 824. The Kōnin era lasted 15 years or 4859 days.
