Tequila 1921
Tequila 1921 is a tequila brand of the manufacturer Casa 1921 Tequila which has been produced since 2002 in the Destileria Morales ( NOM 1535) based in Los Altos in Guanajuato , which also produces the well-known brand Real de Mexico .
particularities
Cultivation and production take place in the highlands in Guanajuato . The processing is based on traditional procedures and tools as they were common in the 18th century , which are supplemented by modern processing methods. Tequila 1921 is produced in four varieties: as Blanco , Reposado , Añejo and as Tequila Cream . Apart from the cream, all three varieties are from the 100% agave azul category . Due to a limited edition there are always delivery bottlenecks outside of Mexico. The manufacturer has been offering the first Tequila Cream made in Mexico since 2005 . With the Tequila Buen Amigo Reposado 1921 offers the world's first organic Tequila, which won the silver medal at the International Spirits Competition ISW 2007 in Germany.
Awards
Tequila 1921 products are considered to be of high quality and repeatedly receive significant awards. For example, the Blanco and the Reposado received the Agave Spirits Challenge Silver Medal in 2008 , the Añejo received several gold awards in 2010 and 2011, and the Crema silver and gold medals.
origin of the name
The 1921 name was chosen to commemorate the victorious end of the Mexican Revolution , which marked a crucial turning point in the country's history . To match, the tequila is bottled that are reproductions of designs from 1921 and provided with photos of famous revolutionaries, for example La Adelita on the Reposado, Emiliano Zapata on the Añejo.
