Tereza Aragão

Tereza Aragão († 1993) was a Brazilian actress, producer and political activist .

Together with Sérgio Cabral , she produced the show “A Fina Flor do Samba” at the Teatro Opinião in Rio de Janeiro in the 1960s , which helped Martinho da Vila and Nêga Pelé to achieve their breakthrough.

The band Aparecida paid tribute to Tereza Aragão with a song. A street in the Ipanema district of Rio de Janeiro was named after her.
