Terlung monastery

The Terlung Monastery ( Tib . : gter lung dgon | Chinese  德尔隆 寺 , Pinyin Dé'ĕrlóng sì ) is a monastery of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism , it is located near the Labrang ( bla brang ) monastery in Xiahe County in the district Gannan , Gansu .

The most important incarnation series of the monastery is that of the Setshang Rinpoches or Setshang Lamas ( bse tshang bla ma ), which goes back to the 1st Setshang Rinpoche, Ngawang Trashi ( nga dbang bkra shis ; 1678–1738).
