Labrang Monastery

The circle Xiahe of Autonomous Prefecture of Gannan Tibetan located in the southeastern Chinese province of Gansu . It has an area of ​​6,674 km² and has 80,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large municipality of Labrang (拉卜楞 镇).

The Labrang Monastery and the site of the city Bajiaocheng (Bajiaocheng chengzhi八角城城址) from the time of the Tang Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
