Location of Maqu County (pink) in the prefecture-level city of Gannan (yellow)

Maqu ( Machu ) is a circle of Autonomous Prefecture of Gannan Tibetan in the Chinese province of Gansu . In 1999 it had 36,213 inhabitants.
