The Tern Glacier ( English for tern glacier ) is a small glacier on Mount Bird on the Antarctic Ross Island . It flows east of the Albatross Glacier on the northeast side of the Quaternary Icefall .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the antipodean tern .
