Teucrium cuneifolium is a species of the genus Germander ( Teucrium ).

features

Teucrium cuneifolium is a subshrub that reaches heights of 10 to 25 centimeters. The plant is very dense green to white felted. The stem is hairy when pressed down. The leaves are wedge-shaped, ovate or rounded, 9 to 13 millimeters long and more than 8 millimeters wide. The chalice is 5 to 7 millimeters in size. The crown is cream-colored with spatulate side lobes.

The flowering period extends from May to June.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 52.

Occurrence

Teucrium cuneifolium is endemic to Crete in the prefecture of Chania. The species grows on limestone crevices at altitudes of 0 to 700 meters.
