Texas Local News is a metalcore pop band from Frankfurt am Main .
history
Texas Local News was founded in 2011. The first EP We Are Pandora was released in autumn 2012.
In the following years the band played a total of 150 concerts in Germany and abroad and released several music videos ( Time and Reason 2013; Karma 2014; Disclosure 2016).
In spring 2016, the band announced their signing with the German label Redfield Digital , on which they released their debut album Momentum on May 6, 2016 . This was produced in the Karma Recording Studios in collaboration with Daniel Haniß ( Eskimo Callboy ) and Simon Yildirim ( To the Rats and Wolves ).
After several line-up changes (shouts, drums) the band now consists of five members (previously six).
The quintet is defined among other things by its polyphonic singing (singer, singer, shouts + backings).
The quintet describes their style as metalcore pop.
