Textile Network ( spelling : textile network ) is a bi- monthly, IVW -approved trade magazine for the manufacture of textile products. The publisher is Meisenbach GmbH from Bamberg . The total print run of around 4,600 copies is divided into a German and an English language edition at a ratio of around 55 to 45.

Target group and content

The magazine is aimed at managing directors, operations and production managers and, in the operational area, at IT managers, product managers and development engineers, buyers and sellers as well as designers at home and abroad.

In the opinion of the editors, the representation of the network of the textile production chain is the central concept of the magazine. Against this background, the subject area covers the entire spectrum from product development and product management to production and sales markets to IT / software, trends and research and development. A relevant focus is u. a. Textile and clothing machines, technological processes as well as fibers and yarns. Personnel reports and company news round off the respective issues.

history

The first edition appeared according to the title data in the journal database in October 2003; Previous magazines were Maschen-Industrie (45.1995 - 53.2003), Tex-Decor (1.1996 - 8.2003) and BW, fashion technics (51.1999 - 54.2002). Textile Network originally appeared on a monthly basis, but in February 2017 it was changed to six issues per year.

Frequency of publication and distribution

Textile Network appears worldwide with six double editions annually (January / February, March / April, May / June, July / August, September / October and November / December) in a German and an English full text translation. The German-language version is particularly popular in the German-speaking area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the English-language version in other European countries, especially in Eastern Europe, and overseas in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Brazil and the United States. The IVW -checked sold German-language edition is 265 copies.
