Thuringia Walther

Thuringia Walther (baptized September 6, 1546 in Bern ; † 1615 there ) was a Swiss glass painter .

Walther was a member of the Society of Middle Lions , in 1577 chamberlain there, from 1578 in the Bernese Grand Council. Walther made tears of the pane and the "Berner Wappenbüchlein" with woodcuts from 1612, one of the oldest printed heraldic books in Switzerland.
