The Thala Valley is an icy valley on the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located immediately south of the Australian Casey Station and separates its area from the main part of the Bailey Peninsula .
Australian scientists named it in 1972 after the research vessel MV Thala Dan , which was used for years to supply Casey Station.
