The Thalatine Lake is a small lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is there in the Vestfold Mountains . Characteristic features are its undulating beaches on the west bank and a similar pebble beach on the southern end.
Australian scientists named it in 1984 after the translated Arabic word for "thirty", which is said to reflect the number of beaches on the lake.
