The Belle Stars
The Belle Stars were a British rock band made up entirely of women. Her single Sign of the Times , which was released in January 1983, reached number 3 in the UK and was also successful across Europe.
Career
Her debut album reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart. The single Iko Iko from 1989 was particularly successful in the US charts and reached number 14 in the Billboard Top 100 in March. The song was also included in the soundtrack to the film Rain Man and Hangover and originally came from the US vocal trio The Dixie Cups .
