The Blood Arm is a Founded in 2003, four alternative rock - band from Los Angeles , California . In 2004 she was nominated for the LA Weekly Music Award for Best New Artist in 2004 . At the beginning of 2012 the band moved to Berlin .

The band was previously the opening act for Franz Ferdinand and Maxïmo Park, among others . The band in particular often mentioned the former in interviews and thus contributed to their popularity.
