The Centaurus is a multi-purpose project currently under construction in Islamabad , Pakistan . The project covers 6.59 hectares of land.

The design of the complex was developed by WS Atkins PLC . WS Atkins PLC designs include: a. the Burj Al Arab , the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai and the Bahrain World Trade Center in Bahrain . The complex is a Pak Gulf Construction (Pvt) Ltd (PGCL) project in Islamabad.

The complex is intended to be used for residential, commercial and business purposes. Above all, however, it should increase the attractiveness of Pakistan as an interesting host for international conferences and seminars. In summary, it is intended to serve as a symbol of the growth of Pakistan.

A 37-story complex, a 7-star hotel with two 21-story residential towers, a 25-story office tower and a 5-story shopping center are planned for the US $ 350 million project. The complex will have parking space for over 2,000 vehicles and is designed to withstand even a 9.5 magnitude earthquake. According to expectations, the construction should be completed in 2010.
