The Close 32, 33 is a Grade I listed building in Salisbury , England . It is registered as a building of particular importance and general interest in the category II * in the English list of monuments and is located north of Salisbury Cathedral in the cathedral district of Close.

Architecture and history

The building was created in the 18th century from the conversion of two or three previous buildings. The current development has one to two storeys. The building was made of solid bricks, with the facade facing south being painted white. From the single-storey western part of the south wing, a larger two-storey wing branches off to the north, which in turn merges into the eastern part of a north wing. The roof landscape of the complex is also lively and dominated by dormers and chimneys. There are several bay windows on the facades .

The building has been listed as a memorial since February 28, 1952. Currently (as of 2019) the building is partly used for catering.
